Upgrading from CaptureGRID 4

How to migrate your data from CaptureGRID 4

CaptureGRID 6 can be installed alongside CaptureGRID 4. The two versions will not interfere with each other, and you can continue to use CaptureGRID 4 while evaluating CaptureGRID 6.

Data Migration

When CaptureGRID 6 is launched for the first time, it will detect any existing CaptureGRID 4 installation and offer to migrate your data. This includes:

  • Camera names and serial number associations

  • Camera presets

  • Application options and settings

Note

The migration is a one-time operation. After the migration is complete, changes made in CaptureGRID 4 will not be reflected in CaptureGRID 6, and vice versa.

License

CaptureGRID 6 requires a separate license from CaptureGRID 4. Your existing CaptureGRID 4 license will not work with CaptureGRID 6. Please visit https://kuvacode.com to purchase a new license.
